羅塞蒂 Dante Gabriel Rossetti(1828-1882) 英國畫家及詩人，Rossetti的家族，包含父親 Gabriele Rossetti - 被流放的義大利學者，兄弟William Michael Rossetti - 評論家，妹妹Christina Rossetti - 詩人，1848 和 Hunt 及 Millais 共同奠立了拉斐爾前派。


浪漫的愛情是他畫作與詩論的主角，但由於只結婚兩年的妻子的去逝，又加以詩集引人攻擊，他變得意氣消沈，而畫作也呈現陰鬱朦朧的型態。
