印象主義 Impressionism
竇加 Edgar Degas（1834-1917）為法國偉大的浪漫主義畫家，色彩使用深刻影響印象主義及後印象主義，創作的靈感大皆來自史學上及當代的文學作品。自從旅遊英國及北非後，接受了外地文化衝擊，更具體化他的浪漫理念。

晚年長時間的為羅浮宮及凡爾賽博物館工作，致使身體變差，1863年八月死於巴黎，他的房屋成為紀念他的博物館。
